Jewellery Size Guide
At Paula Bolton Jewellery, we want every piece to fit perfectly. This guide will help you find the ideal sizes for rings, bracelets, necklaces and earrings so each piece looks and feels as it should.
Ring Size
Finding your ring size is easy with these steps:
- Wrap a piece of string or a thin strip of paper around the finger where you’ll wear the ring. Make sure it fits snugly but comfortably.
- Where the ends meet, mark it, then measure the length against a ruler.
- Match your measurement to our ring size chart below. If you’re between sizes, consider going up for a more relaxed fit or down for a closer fit.
Our rings are available in 9 sizes from L to T. Please refer to our size guide to find the right fit for you.
Tips: Finger sizes can vary slightly throughout the day, so measure at the end of the day for accuracy.
Still unsure about ring size? If you want to be certain, visit your local high street jeweller. They can size an existing ring or use professional tools to ensure the perfect fit.
Necklace Length
The right necklace length can highlight your style and perfectly complement your outfit. Here’s a quick overview of popular lengths:
Choker (14-16 inches): Rests close to the neck and is a versatile length for layering or wearing alone.
Standard (18 inches): Falls around the collarbone and suits most necklines, making it a popular choice.
Long (24-30 inches): A more relaxed length that typically falls below the bust, adding an elegant touch for layering or creating a statement look.
All Paula Bolton necklaces come with an 18-inch chain with the option to purchase a 2-inch extender.
Tip: When working out your necklace length, try using a piece of string to experiment with different lengths to see how they look.
Bracelet & Bangle Size
For bracelets and bangles, follow these steps to get the best fit:
1. Measure your wrist by wrapping a flexible measuring tape or a strip of paper around your wrist, just above the bone.
2. Adjust for Comfort: Add about 1-2 cm (around ½ inch) to your wrist measurement, depending on how loose or snug you like your bracelets to fit.
Tip: Bracelet style matters—delicate chains may sit looser, while cuffs and bangles typically fit closer to the wrist.
Earring Size
Earring size and style can make a big impact on your look. Here’s a quick guide to help you decide:
Hoops: Consider size and comfort—smaller hoops (10-15mm) provide a classic, understated look and are often easier to wear, while larger hoops (20mm or more) make a bold, contemporary statement but may be less comfortable.
Hoops: Diameter matters—smaller hoops (10-15mm) give a classic look, while larger hoops (20mm+) are more contemporary.
Drop Earrings: Measure from your earlobe to determine where the drop will fall. Drop earrings offer a touch of sophistication, making them ideal for special occasions or creating an elegant, stylish impression.
