BEHIND THE DESIGN

The Inspiration

For many years, I have designed jewellery that reflects the style of Art Deco, the Jazz Age, with bold geometric lines. In these designs I was inspired by the American architecture of that period, including design elements used in the iconic Chrysler building. Jewellery in the Art Deco period often featured semicircles and resin, and I use both in an up-to-date interpretation of this exciting period of jewellery design.
