BEHIND THE DESIGN

The Inspiration

When I first came across the Usekh collars of Ancient Egypt, I was struck by their bold shapes and the way they seemed to radiate power and elegance. These collars, worn by pharaohs and the elite, told stories of status, artistry, and tradition.

I wanted to capture some of that grandeur in this collection. Using vibrant lapis lazuli and carnelian, I’ve designed pieces that reflect the beauty and craftsmanship of these ancient treasures. For me, it’s been a fascinating journey into the world of Egyptian design and its timeless appeal.
