The Inspiration

Later in life, Matisse turned to cut-out paper collages using silhouettes of birds, fish, and plants, mainly in shades of blue, green, and pink. These designs capture some of the fluidity of his designs as wearable works of art using resin set in silver. When wearing this design, friends have asked to buy it, and one stylish lady even teamed it with pearls, it looked sensational.
